Our Four Lane "Millenium" Track.

During the last third of 1999, with kind donations from local business’s and the help and skills of member Mark Wattam, the members were able to build this new ‘super speedway’ track to a high standard.

The track is supplied with a continuous mains power supply, while pick up to the cars is provided by braid kindly donated by Andy Brown-Searle of ABSlotsport.

The track surface is finished in grey polyurethane which provides excellent grip, while race control is fully computerised and timed to three decimal points. It comprises four lanes, eleven turns and is 135' long. Lap times are from about the high four seconds to the mid six seconds depending on class beinng raced.

Member and National Slot Car Champion, George Kimber, designed the track and while it is fast, it also remains very much a challenging ‘drivers’ circuit.
