Well here we are at the start of another slot racing season for NSCRC.

New for this year is the deletion of 1/24 open group 12 with standard body and the introduction of 1/24 production with retro bodies. 

Those eligible are all body styles (open or closed) up to and including 1975. They must be cut on the manufacturers cut line and painted in appropriate retro colour schemes. This means no flame type paint schemes etc. An exact colour scheme is not a requirement but the scheme must be in keeping with the period of the body.

Just posted are the final standings for 2007 and congratulations must go to the following class winners:

Mark Wattam: 1/24 Open Group 12 Ultimate Body.

Mark Wattam: 1/24 Open Group 12 Standard body.

George Kimber: (The old geezer of slot racing) 1/24 Production Sports.

Mike Harrison: 1/24 Production Saloon.

Chris Cowen: Class one 1/32 Production Saloon.

George Kimber: (I'm not going to say it again. LOL) Class two 1/32 Production Saloon.

Chris Cowen: Class One 1/32 Production Formula One.

George Kimber: (I'm definitely not going to say it again. (LMAO)

04:02:08 The Old Geezer of slot racing does it again for the third week running this time breaking the OG12 track record with an impressive 34.30 laps.

17:03;08 'It's a fair Cop Guv' Dave Lees breaks the speed limit with a 5.538 single lap record in 1/24 Retro.

17:03: 08 The Old Man does it again with a 1/24 retro segment record of 31.96 and a full race record of 128.34. proving that the age of miracles has not yet passed!!!!. LOL

31:03:08 The Old Man is at it again with a single lap record in 1/32 Production Saloon at 6.087

31:03:08 Mighty Mike sets new records for 1/32 Production Saloon at 28.15 and 110.32

02:04:2008 Change to race Schedule.

Following discussions, it has been decided that we should change the race schedule in order to see if we can improve the track condition for OG12. New race order cards will be available shortly.
